2. Local First Architecture

XReplyPal is built as a local-first application. This means:

  • By default, your streak data, settings, and generated reply history are stored locally in your browser leveraging Chrome's local storage API.
  • We do not actively send your browser history, tweets, or X.com account details to our servers.

3. Data Collection via AI Generation

When you use the AI Reply Assistant features, we must transmit the text of the tweet you are replying to and your selected tone to our backend servers to securely communicate with the Gemini AI API.

  • We only transmit the text content explicitly required to generate the reply.
  • We do not store or use this content to train AI models.

4. Analytics and Telemetry

We use basic, privacy-friendly analytics (like Google Analytics and PostHog) on our marketing website and within the extension to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., number of active users, most clicked buttons) to improve the product. We do not track individual keystrokes or link behavior back to your personal X profile.

5. Third-Party Services

We process payments via Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. When making a purchase, you are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
